PRIVACY POLICY

Last updated: 09.28.2026

This privacy policy explains what information Fire Vanilla collects when you use our store or play on our server, and what we do with it.

Who we are

Fire Vanilla is a Minecraft server based in Norway (hosted in England). If you have any questions about this policy or want to know more about how your data is handled, you can reach us at firevanillasupport@gmail.com or preferably through our Discord server due to the emails having a longer wait for replies.

What information we collect

When you make a purchase on our store, payment processing is handled entirely by Tebex, who act as the merchant of record for all transactions. We do not see or store your card details, and you can read Tebex's own privacy policy at tebex.io for how they handle payment information.

What we do receive and store on our end includes:

  • Your Minecraft username, and if applicable, your Discord username
  • Your purchase history on our store (what you bought and when)
  • Basic technical information like your IP address, which is logged automatically when you connect to our server, mainly for security and anti-cheat purposes

We do not collect more than we need to run the server and deliver what you've purchased.

Our game server is hosted in the United Kingdom, so this information is processed there. The UK is recognized by the EU as providing an adequate level of data protection, so no additional safeguards are required for this.

Why we collect it

We use this information to deliver the ranks, items or perks you've paid for, to provide support if something goes wrong with an order, to keep the server secure and prevent abuse, and to improve the server and store over time.

Who we share it with

We share necessary information with Tebex, since they process your payment and handle store transactions. If you connect your Discord account or join our Discord server, Discord's own privacy policy also applies to how they handle your data there. Our Patrons feature runs on Cloudflare, which receives Minecraft usernames and store purchase totals to work out who is a Patron. Player heads on the Patrons page are loaded from mc-heads.net using Minecraft usernames. Beyond these services, we do not sell or share your information with third parties.

What is shown publicly

Players who spend £100 or more in total are listed by Minecraft username on our public Patrons page. Anyone can look up a username's progress towards Patron, which shows the total spent on our store (rounded down to the nearest £5, up to £100), and the highest store rank bought with that username.

How long we keep it

We keep purchase records for as long as needed to resolve any support issues or disputes, and generally in line with what Norwegian accounting law requires for transaction records. Server logs and IP data are kept for a limited period for security purposes and are not retained indefinitely.

Your rights

Since Norway is part of the EEA, GDPR applies to how we handle your data. This means you have the right to ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct anything that's wrong, ask us to delete your data where we're not legally required to keep it, and complain to Datatilsynet (the Norwegian Data Protection Authority) if you think we've mishandled your information.

To make any of these requests, just get in touch with us at firevanillasupport@gmail.com or through our Discord server.

Children's privacy

If you are under 13, you should have a parent or guardian's permission before making any purchase or sharing personal information with us. If we learn that a purchase or account was set up by a child without appropriate consent, we may take steps to resolve this, which could include cancelling the purchase.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time as our server or store setup changes. Any updates will be posted on this page.
